CheapTrick 29 medium, Custom made with Rohloff
This CheapTrick hardtail is special on several levels:
Of course, the first thing that catches the eye is the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 gear hub, which is not least due to the chic red of the hub housing. The Speedhub is the epitome of solid carefree gearing and therefore fits perfectly into the trail and all-round hardtail CheapTrick anyway.
Since the construction is a Dream Build by Alutech in cooperation with Rohloff, the gearbox is of course not the only highlight.
In addition to components such as the carbon handlebars, the stem and the Infinergy saddle from Sqlab, a SRAM GX crank made of carbon is also installed. The Formula Cura4 brakes with a 'polished' finish and high-performance Kevlar brake lines are also not really commonplace.
In addition, wheels from DT-Swiss and a Formula Selva S air suspension fork for safe ground contact.
The bike was presented live at the Eurobike, accompanied by the Dream Build video, which can be found on YouTube and documents the development from the production of the hub to the construction of the bike and a riding performance worth seeing.
The bike was ridden for about two hours as part of the video production, has of course been checked and is ready for new adventures. Accordingly, the bike has only minimal signs of wear.
