If you want a little more enduro and a little less downhill, then the Sennes as a superenduro / freerider is an obvious choice.
The basis is the Sennes 3.0 29er frame, which gains playfulness due to the 27.5" smaller and stable DT-Swiss FR560 wheels. At the front, a 170mm RockShox ZEB keeps the front wheel on track, the rear is controlled by the well-known creamy STS rear triangle guided and damped by the fabolous Fox X2 Factory air shock.
How well such a bike can be pedaled uphill with a 1x12 SRAM GX-Eagle drivetrain was demonstrated by our colleague Jens at the 2021 marathon in Riva del Garda on the Ronda Grande. 59th place overall is a great success in itself - but the grin on arrival at the finish was simply priceless.
