The DT Swiss FR 541 Classic wheelset with Boost hubs impresses in demanding gravity use with outstanding resilience,
puncture resistance and low weight. Its secret is the 30 mm wide aluminum rim,
which takes the load distribution into account in extreme situations and thus improves handling.
Compared to its predecessor, the FR 1950, its profile has been reinforced in certain areas
to provide optimal shock resistance for freeride and downhill.
In addition, the rim flanges are shaped to minimize the risk of a tire puncture.
The FR541 rim is identical to the rim from the DT Swiss FR1500 system wheelset.
The use of 32 J-bend spokes on the front wheel and 32 on the rear wheel make this wheelset extremely robust.
Central to it are the race-proven, lightweight 350 Disc 6-hole hubs with Ratchet freewheel, which is known for its fast traction
and ease of maintenance.

Pro Lock
The nipple thread is coated with a two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels.
It can be re-centered several times without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly.
The connection between the spoke and the nipple cannot come loose on its own.
Ratchet
A toothed disc and the threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required,
which leads to less wear and tear and a lower weight.
The resilient and reliable toothed disc freewheel system is also quick and easy to maintain.
The no-tool concept is crucial for this, as it means that the freewheel can be replaced without tools.
The freewheel has two discs that mesh at the same time.
