The INCAS 2.0 (Interchangeable Cartridge System) is the technical advancement of the high-quality MTB braking system from Braking®.

While maintaining their Made in Italy philosophy, BRAKING has managed with the INCAS 2.0 system to meet the needs of every MTB rider and at the same time the high and sometimes very individual requirements of downhillers and enduro riders, but at the same time through the versatile Brake customization options to suit personal riding style to satisfy top athletes participating in XC and marathon races.

In addition, the INCAS system also fits perfectly on any modern e-bike thanks to its high braking power.

The BRAKING INCAS 2.0 can generate a higher operating pressure compared to a standard brake system and thus enables greater braking power. This allows riders to apply powerful, controllable braking with a very light pull on the brake lever. This brake sensitivity, created at the finger/lever by the rider, drastically reduces hand and forearm fatigue, allowing the rider to fully enjoy their ride and the descent, and to the end have 100% control of their bike.

- All new materials and processes: master cylinder/hand pump and caliper are machined from solid and CNC machined with high quality finish.
- New brake hose made from an aramide-steel braid mix with a 5mm diameter for optimal oil flow/brake fluid flow and weight savings. New brake pads with a wider braking surface offer better grip between disc and pad, allowing greater heat dissipation.
- The new caliper design and optimized hose placement ensure easy pad replacement.

INCAS - INterchangeable CArtridge System
The INCAS technology offers the possibility of individually adapting the hand pumps with different pump diameters and thus enables the driver to optimally adapt the system to his needs. The cartridges/pistons of the pumps can be exchanged easily and quickly, so that the pressure point and the braking power of the system can be changed quickly if necessary.

- 9mm cartridge/piston - Power and modularity - By moving less brake fluid than the 10mm version, the pads move progressively closer to the disc, allowing braking power to be best utilized.
- 10mm - fast response (is not included in the scope of delivery, must be purchased separately) - Alternatively, a 10mm cartridge can be installed. This is more responsive than the 9mm cartridge as more brake fluid can be moved, requiring less rider effort for an instant "sharp" stop feel.
- Three-Function Master Cylinder (Hand Brake Pump) - The master cylinder/hand brake pump was designed to separate the mechanical from the hydraulic function and keep them independent of each other.
- Hydraulic Function - An innovative system of interchangeable hydraulic cylinder cartridges/pistons of different sizes. The different diameters available allow the rider to vary the amount, speed and pressure of the brake fluid moved by the pistons.
- Mechanical function - the lever can be adjusted independently of the position of the piston, helping to achieve the perfect lever position tailored to the individual rider. Piston position can also be adjusted to reduce free lever travel.
- Material - The aluminum body is milled from one piece (CNC milled) and then finished with high quality.
